Fun Valentine’s Crafts To Create With Your Kids

With Valentine’s on the way I’ve been thinking about some fun craft activities to do with the kids. Especially during these times and with homeschooling proving a daily challenge, I thought some fun Valentine’s crafts for them to do might make it all a bit easier. It would be a great topic for that week, not only to make something but to use it as a focus to discuss such things as what love means, where Valentine’s Day originated from and can even used as a stepping point to discuss LGBT issues and inclusivity.

After browsing on Pinterest for some ideas for our Valentine’s craft ideas, I then had a quick Google on how we could create something to print out and came across Design Bundles, a website offering fantastic digital artwork bundles starting at £1.50. These bundles can be used as svg files which can be imported to a cutting machine and then printed to use on various goods such as cushions or tshirts. However a lot of them can also be downloaded as a jpeg or png file meaning you can download them to your computer and print them onto paper or card.

Whilst I don’t own a Cricut myself (I wish), and whilst this may be the best way to get the most out of these designs, it’s certainly not the only way. For our Valentine’s crafts I will save the designs and open them in Photoshop, so I can resize and print them for use in lots of different ways. Here are just some of the Valentine’s designs I found on Design Bundles:

Designs I Found For Your Valentine’s Crafts

This Valentine’s mega bundle has tons of illustrations on which could be printed out onto good quality paper or card and added to create a lovely Valentine’s card.

I love this Fall svg which would make a great addition to a room

Or maybe something like this which could be used on a t-shirt, mug or even printed out as a keepsake and framed.

This fish svg is really cute and would make a cute cushion, card or, if printed out smaller, a bookmark.

Just having a browse on Design Bundles is a lovely activity in itself and something a bit different to do as a mindfulness activity as it gives your mind a focus rather than running through the never ending list of tasks you need to do that day. Plus it is nice to have a craft project in mind as something you can create together as a family.

I have put together a Valentine’s Craft board on Pinterest which has lots of ideas of things you can create with your little ones, so head over and take a look.

Have you ever used Design Bundles before? It would be great to hear what type of activities you have planned for Valentine’s, or any future project you have planned, such as Easter or maybe interior design projects.
