During our recent holiday to Fuerteventura we were offered a holiday pack of baby essentials from Jowsa The Baby Genie. To save you on excess baggage and take the pressure off making sure you have all the essentials, you can order them to be delivered straight to your door.
The day after we arrived at our villa we were sent a holiday pack to try. We were supplied with a large pack of Pampers nappies, baby wipes, Huggies swim nappies, a bottle of Johnsons’ Baby Shampoo and a tub of Sudocrem. Whilst the Sudocrem wasn’t put to much use everything else was definitely appreciated. Being provided with nappies by a brand we knew we could rely on meant not having to risk leaking bums with foreign nappies we weren’t familiar with. It also saved us on luggage space and weight as we didn’t have to pack bulky nappies and heavy packs of wipes. The box of items turned up promptly on the day we were expecting it and despite struggling to fund our villa, the driver simply rang us and was on our doorstep within minutes.
The price to have all this delivered is £34.99 to any European destination – this breaks down to £19.99 for postage and £15 for the items. considering if you bought the items yourself it would cost nearly £30 along, this is a really good deal. Some may feel the delivery charge alone is a lot to pay considering it is the cost of a case on many budget airlines, however I did feel it took the hassle out of making sure I had enough nappies and wipes, and definitely meant we had enough room in the cases given the weight limit was only 20kg, which really doesn’t cover a lot. If you feel this is too much you can also order smaller boxes – a small box (up to 5kg) will have a delivery charge of £9.99 and a medium box (5 – 10kg) will cost £14.99.
Jowsa also can provide baby formula, food, health and suncare products so there is a good range of essential items you can have delivered and I really couldn’t fault the service. Jowsa deliver to most countries around the world and a list of these can be found on their website, along with the products they provide. You can also find out more by visiting them on twitter.
