Walkers Hoops & Crosses Review

Walkers Hoops & Crosses Review

We are currently attempting to utilise a reward chart to encourage some nicer behaviour from H – she has been really struggling with sharing and gets very angry with Baby J so we have bought a few small toys and some stickers to try and encourage her to control herself a little better.

For those little moments of good behaviour we tend to give a little treat – a mini egg or piece of chocolate. We have recently been sent a packet of Walkers Hoops & Crosses to try out so they fit the bill for a little snack every now and again.

Each bag of Hoops & Crosses has only 85 calories, so they are a good healthy treat for the little ones, as I do try to be careful how much junk I give them. They are also made from wholegrains, have no artificial colours or preservatives and they come in three flavours – all suitable for vegetarians (prawn cocktail, roast beef, salt and vinegar). We received the roast beef flavour, which when I had a try I found to be a similar taste to Monster Munch roast beef, but obviously a lot healthier!

They certainly went down with Little H, who kept demanding more, and Baby J of course had to have a taste! I felt a lot happier giving them the snacks knowing they were a lot better for them than other crisps.

Our packet came with the very cute Monty the monkey, who has now found a new home with H and her many toys in her bed!

*I have been sent this product for free to review, however all opinions are my own.
